Progressions - click on side bar topics

The column on the right is a 'search menu' to fundamental topics that as Christian’s affect the way we relate to the world and disciple others. Some topics are very basic illuminations to important Biblical topics while others are a Christian response to contemporary and cultural situations, customs and diversities through the lens of a simple reading of the Bible text. These pages are a work in progress and some contain only a few sentences. In all cases, these writings are reviewed, modified and improved as time goes on. In most cases they are simply here because someone has asked the editor a question in relation to these topics.

The Bible challenge we have after being captured by its wonder, is that we come to a point of either 'no further growth' or a risky lifelong journey into topics that fly in the face of ‘modern philosophies’. Do we then trust that God’s ways are higher than our ways? Do we simply use the Bible only as a moral guide, collection of fascinating stories and parables? Sadly many Christian’s today don't really know the scriptures and instead connect the odd Bible verse here and there with whatever is happening in their humanitarian, socio-economic or political context.

Will we come before God and read the Bible without the lens of our own philosophies?

Under no circumstances are believers meant to condemn, ridicule, force or control people against their freewill. Believers are simply to communicate their own testimony (story), and to be ready at any moment to give account of their faith to others. As believers, this dialogue should naturally emerge from our experience in Christ and our understanding of the scriptures without cliché or sub-cultural terminologies that demean or isolate the enquirer. This is an act of love and support, not and opportunity for heavy-handed attitudes or judgement. God is judge. URL brand was founded on 3rd July 2006.
